Long Nerve Entrapment Certification
I just became certified in Long Nerve Entrapment through the Active Release Techniques (ART) program. This technique allows me to assist the movement of the nerve through muscle, ligament and connective tissue by maximally moving all of the joints the nerves crosses.

Kevin Everett
Last month, I presented a lecture about "Rehabilitation of Microfracture Injuries" at the annual meeting of the New York State Athletic Trainers' Association. This meeting is a continuing education forum for athletic trainers around New York State.
The keynote speaker for the event was Kevin Everett. For those of you who do no know Kevin, he was the Buffalo Bills football player who was temporarily paralyzed during the 2007 season opener versus the Denver Broncos. Through the expert efforts of the Bills' Medical Staff and Induced Hypothermia by their Assistant Team Physician, Andrew Cappuccino (http://www.buffalospinesurgery.com/), Kevin has been able to walk again.
Spinal cord injuries occur more than we think. There are over 11,000 new spinal cord injuries per year. Check out more information about spinal cord injuries, Kevin and his story and how you can become involved with his foundation.
