BRPIKE
Brad Pike is the founder and owner of Championship Physical Therapy. He is also the Head Athletic Trainer at Syracuse University. He has worked at Syracuse since 2000. Though he covers all sports at Syracuse, his primary focus is on the men’s basketball and men’s rowing teams. Brad was the athletic trainer for the 2003 NCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship team. Brad is certified in Active Release Techniques (ART®), Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (SASTM) and is a Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), College Athletic Trainers Society, the Eastern Athletic Trainers Association and the New York State Athletic Trainers Association. Pike has presented at numerous symposiums and workshops. He most recently presented at the College Athletic Trainers Society Annual Spring Symposium. He led a breakout minisession demonstrating core activation and groin injury prevention. Brad also recently presented at the 2009 New York State Athletic Trainers' Association Annual Meeting. His topic was "Rehabilitation after Microfracture Surgery."
